ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst College received $3,000 last week from the DuPage Cycling Foundation as a follow up from the Superior Ambulance Cycling Classic last summer. The cycling classic surrounds the college campus and aims to raise money for local causes and nonprofit organizations. The $3,000 that was presented last week is a portion of the money raised and will fund scholarships at the school.
“I want to thank the DuPage Cycling Foundation for their generosity,” said Valerie Day, vice president for institutional advancement. “We really enjoy and appreciate our partnership with the Cycling Foundation on this popular event, one that benefits both the community and our students.”
