District 212 and Leyden Township host Veterans Day Concert
Event includes a salute to community members who have served and those who are currently serving our nation.

District 212 and Leyden Township are hosting the annual Home Town Heroes Veterans Day Celebration at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, in the auditorium at West Leyden High School, 1000 N. Wolf Rd., Northlake. A special Veterans Day ceremony will take place during the event.
This show features music and a slideshow showcasing members of the community who have served or are currently serving our nation; oration by teachers, students and community members; and stage action to honor our home town heroes. This event features several hundred Leyden student musicians, American Legion and VFW members; and police officers and firefighters as a tribute to veterans, first-responders and their families.
The event is free and open to the public. Monetary donations will be gratefully accepted for the Wounded Warrior Project.
