Recycle Holiday Lights at City, Park District Locations

Bring lights to City Hall, Courts Plus, Wagner Community Center or the Park District Administrative Building through Jan. 26.

If your holiday lights are on their last leg, or if a couple of strands didn’t shine with the magic of the season when you plugged them in, you don’t have to toss them in the garbage.

The 5th annual holiday lights recycling program will keep those lights out of landfills, according to a City of Elmhurst news release.

Bring lights to City Hall (209 N. York), Courts Plus (186 S. West Ave.), Wagner Community Center (615 N. West Ave.) or the Park District Administrative Building (375 W. First St.) through Jan. 26, 2015. Drop them in the bins with the “Holiday Lights” signs.
