West Leyden FBLA Club announces competition results
West Leyden FBLA chapter members Jesus Carranza and Jakub Drwal qualified to compete at the FBLA national competition to be held in June.

The West Leyden High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has announced the results from the FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Springfield in early April.
West Leyden FBLA chapter members Jesus Carranza and Jakub Drwal, qualified to compete at the organization’s national competition to be held in San Antonio, Texas June 29 - July 2, 2019. Jesus Carranza captured 1st Place in Networking concepts, and Jakub Drwal earned 4th Place in Introduction to Business.
More than 1000 members from 90 FBLA chapters from Illinois were at the state conference. In addition to the competitive events, the seminar included activities in personal development, business and leadership training, and the election of 2019-2020 state officers.
