York Plans Veterans Day Celebrations

ELMHURST, IL — York Community High School will celebrate veterans with two different events in November for Veterans Day. On Nov. 10, there will be a Veterans Day breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. at the York cafeteria.

There will also be a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, Nov. 9. According to the school, the annual all-school assembly will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. and any interested veterans are invited to come and be honored in front of the students in the York Campbell Gym. The assembly will include speeches from US veterans and York students and administrators.
