Man Shot On Emerson Street Monday Afternoon

Police in Evanston are investigating a Monday afternoon incident in which a man had been shot multiple times in the 2000 block of Emerson Street.

Officers responded to multiple shots fired calls around 1:45 p.m. and found a vehicle parked in the lot on the north side of the street with a man who had been shot multiple times.

The victim was transported to Evanston North Shore University hospital for treatment as officers remain on the scene investigating.
