Drive-In Movies On Tap For Halloween Season In Evergreen Park

Evergreen Park Recreation Department hosts free spooky drive-in movies Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 at the community center. Registration required.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — As if 2020 wasn’t scary enough, there is still time for Evergreen Park residents to pick up a ticket for your carload to catch a spooky drive-in flick in the parking lot of the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St.

The recreation department will be showing movies at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23; and at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. Tickets can be reserved by calling 708-229-3373 and must be picked up between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week.

Tickets are free but residents need to register to reserve a spot by calling 708-229-3373, and picked up between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. Only 50 vehicles will be allowed for each showing.

Bring your own snacks and stay in your vehicle during the movie. Wear a face mask if you need to leave your car to use the restroom.

When reserving your spot, let the recreation department know how many children you’ll be bringing so prepackaged goodie bags can be prepared.
