New Rochelle HS Principal Quits To Take Job Later Rescinded
The jobs that was rescinded was with the New York City Department of Education.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle High School Principal Reginald Richardson said on Friday he was leaving his job to work for the New York City Department of Education. On Saturday, he was told the new job was not going to happen.
A spokesman for the NYC Department of Education said the offer was rescinded after they became aware of more information, the subject of which was not specified, the Journal News said.
The rescinded job, for which Richardson said he was taking a pay cut, was for director of school quality, the New York Post said.

Under Richardson’s leadership in New Rochelle, a student was stabbed and killed, two other students were knifed and there was an investigation of grade fixing on the high school’s online classes
Richardson started at New Rochelle High School in 2013.
