Coolant Leak Forces St. Charles Meijer to Evacuate

Shoppers and employees were evacuated from the St. Charles Meijer -- and other shoppers were turned away from entering the store -- Wednesday morning following a coolant leak, according to the Kane County Chronicle.

The leak , which has a ”very low” hazard rating, occurred during maintenance work and affected a cooler that held refrigerated products, according to the article. No one was injured and the store has since re-opened, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
