Cow Chip BINGO Returns To Peck Farm's Autumn Fair
The popular event is back, giving a whole new meaning to a crap shoot.
Cow Chip BINGO is back at the Annual Autumn Fair at Peck Farm Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. This free event also features pony rides for the kids, many family activities, children's games, crafts, and a Birds of Prey presentation.
It's also the last chance of the season to visit the award-winning Butterfly House, which hosted nearly 15,000 visitors this year.
If you're the betting kind, a $5 ticket will get you a chance to win some cash if the grazing cow decides to, uh, well, take a dump in your square. The pot will be split 50/50 with the winner. Peck Farm Manager Trish Burns says the cow will be "well-fed" before the grazing begins to ensure there will be a winner. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Geneva Community Center at 710 Western Avenue or Peck Farm Interpretive Center at 4038 Kaneville Road, and will also be available on Saturday.

Burns said the annual fair, which started in 2003, attracted more than 700 visitors last year.
Cow Chip BINGO is a major fundraiser for The Geneva Park District Foundation which helps to pay for needed projects not included in the budget. Projects funded by the Foundation include repairs to the Butterfly House and the purchase of rain barrels for the Peck Farm House.
