Former Chicago Bear Emery Moorehead, a member of the 1985 Super Bowl championship team, will be in Geneva on behalf of the Friends of Burgess Field. The Burgess Field rebuilding campaign is in competition for the, a race for a $250,000 grant based on the number of votes received here.
The will be taking over Buffalo Wild Wings from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fox Sports Radio will be doing a live radio show with Moorehead from 6-7 p.m., and Friends of Burgess Field will host special guests Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and Northern Illinois University linebacker and Geneva grad Pat Schiller.
"Friends" will have raffles, door prizes, and sports memorabilia available throughout the day.
