Central Kane County TRIAD has scheduled its fall Senior Safety Academy for 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 26 at l, Building 351 Lower Level. Coffee and doughnuts, a free lunch and raffle prizes will be provided for participants. Sign up for the safety academy by calling the center at630-232-3602 no later than Friday, Oct. 21. TRIAD brings together local police departments, the Kane County Sheriff's Department, Senior Services Associates, Inc., Geneva Township and service providers for seniors. Seniors are offered educational seminars of particular interest to older adults including programs like 911 phones and the File of Life.
