Interested in interpreting and discussing a photographic exhibition? Consider participating in a discussion about the Geneva History Center’s current photographic exhibition Who Was Sadie Cooksey? with professional photographer Fred Ullrich on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 7 p.m. Mr. Ullrich will lead a discussion on Maggie Foskett’s photographic exhibition documenting the early history of the “Girls School” in Geneva. Ullrich will also share his own photography and personal motivations behind them. Participants are encouraged to bring in their own 8 x 10 inch photograph to discuss and critique.
Fred Ullrich has worked professionally in visual communications for almost 30 years in photography and filmmaking and continues to define his personal vision through his black and white handcrafted photographs. Recognized as an award-winning fine art photographer, he maintains a fine art photographic presence through his periodic art exhibitions and juried art shows in the Midwest and on his website www.fredullrich.com. Ullrich also is a partner and originator of Studio 150 in Batavia, Illinois.
This presentation will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 7 pm in the Community Room at the Geneva History Center, 113 South Third Street, Geneva, in the heart of the historic downtown area.
