Geneva Volleyball Team Nets Third Win
The Geneva girls' volleyball team defeated Elgin Tuesday to bring its conference record to 3-3 and its overall record to 19-11 going into its season closer this weekend.
The Vikings outplayed Elgin for a memorable and victorious senior night. Every senior had an outstanding performance; bringing a happy ending to tonight's match. In game two, all six seniors played together to complete the match.
Brooke Binette led the team in kills with 10 and totaled eight digs against Elgin. Ashley Boser led the team in digs with a grand total of nine and added five aces to Geneva's win.
The Vikings play in the Kaneland Invitational this Saturday for the last matches of the regular season. Their current record is 19-11 overall and 3-3 in conference.
