Kane County Prosecutor Charged With DUI
Kathleen Doyen was pulled over in Carol Stream on Aug. 15.
A Kane County prosecutor faces DUI charges after police pulled her over in Carol Stream earlier this month, the Daily Herald reports.
Police said Kathleen Doyen, 30, was driving 67 MPH in a 45 MPH zone and weaving between lanes when she was stopped in the 600 block of North Avenue (Route 64), according to the article. Doyen, an assistant state’s attorney, registered a BAC of .167 -- more than twice the legal limit of .08. She told police she had two to three beers at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles and “possibly some mixed drinks,” the newspaper reports.
