Police said Patzer was visiting with a relative when he is accused of attempting to choking another relative, pulling out a knife and making violent threats, according to the news release.

The argument stemmed from a dispute “over the ownership and use of a vehicle,” Geneva Police Sgt. Julie Nash told the Daily Herald. The relative that was attacked was visiting Patzer’s father, according to the article.
