Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen
The sex assault occurred at the victim's home in Batavia, police said.
A 52-year-old man remains in custody Monday morning after police said he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl at her home in Batavia, police said.
Police took Jay A. Davies into custody on Thursday following an investigation into a sexual assault case involving the teen that occurred at the teen’s house between June 24 and 25, according to a Batavia Police Department press release.
The parents of the teen notified the Batavia Police Department of the incident.

Davies has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault (use or threat of force) and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. A $250,000 bond has been set in the case.
