• Another Section Of Fox River Trail Will Close For 2 Months (patch.com) — Geneva residents who use the Fox River Trail should prepare for another two‑month closure starting next week on the west side near the Kane County Government Center. The project replaces a key sanitary sewer crossing that carries all west-side flow to the wastewater plant, and the city has posted an online map with detours to help trail users plan ahead.
   

• Kane County Cougars head to the road with one-game lead in playoff series (dailyherald.com) — Baseball fans in Geneva just saw the Kane County Cougars grab a 1-0 playoff series lead with a 9-7 win over the Lake Country DockHounds at Northwestern Medicine Field. After building a big early lead, the Cougars survived a DockHounds comeback and now head to Wisconsin on Friday looking to clinch the best-of-three Miles Wolff Cup East Division series.
