The first measurable snow of the season is possible this weekend Nov. 15 & 16. Whether or not the snow actually occurs, the Geneva Police Department believes this is a good time to remind residents of some basic winter weather tips.
* Wear your seatbelt.
* Slow down and drive defensively.
* Completely clear windows of snow, ice and frost before driving.
* Have a mechanic check over your car to get it ready for winter elements.
* If snowplows are on the roadways, please leave plenty of space between your cars and the trucks.
