Three Injured in Crash on Slippery Geneva Roadway

Three were injured in a crash involving a Pace bus and at least three other vehicles on Route 25 in Geneva Monday afternoon, according to the Kane County Chronicle.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene of the crash, which occurred on Route 25 north of Fabyan Windmill and south of Fox Run Drive, at 5:29 p.m., the newspaper reports. Authorities could not release information on the extent of the injuries but said a “light extrication” was needed to get one person out of their vehicle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation but authorities told the Kane County Chronicle that slippery roadways could have been a factor.

The crash forced a portion of Route 25 to close Monday evening.
