A dispute that began over a Facebook post eventually required the Kane County SWAT team’s attention Monday night.
Kane County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a residence at 6 Johns Lane in unincorporated Aurora Township at about 10:40 p.m. for a report of a man who held a gun to a victim’s head following a dispute over a Facebook post, police said.
The gun turned out to be a toy.

Police tried to get the gunman leave the house. After 15 minutes, the man, later identified as Oscar Guzman, 26, of Montgomery, came out of the home with a 20-year-old woman, according to a Kane County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Police took a toy gun and arrested Guzman. He has been charged with aggravated assault. Police also learned there was an unidentified man and a woman and her 3-year-old child still inside the home, according to the news release.

After spending an hour trying to make contact with those still inside the home, the Kane County SWAT team was called to the scene since police were unable to “determine if the woman and child were free to leave or were being held against their will,” according to the news release.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes of attempted contacts with the people still inside the home, the SWAT team entered the residence and arrested David Oslund, 33, of 1337 Gilmore St. in Aurora, on warrants for residential burglary and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Police learned the woman child who were inside the home were there by their own choice and were not being held against their will.
The two men charged following the incident were taken to the Kane County Adult Justice Center.
