Tri-Cities See Pile Up of Crashes Following First Snowfall

WIth the first snowfall of the season blanketing area roadways, police responded to 10 accidents in Geneva over a 24-hour period on Saturday, the Kane County Chronicle reports.

A two-vehicle accident at Route 64 and Wooley Road in Lily Lake sent three adults to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the newspaper reports.

And Batavia police responded to two accidents -- the first at Kirk Road and Pine Street and the second in the 500 block of South Batavia Avenue -- within minutes of each other just before 8 p.m. on Saturday night, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
