Glen Ellyn Historical Society Calling Baton Twirlers of All Ages and Skill Levels to Twirl

Glen Ellyn Historical Society would like to feature a marching unit of Baton Twirlers in the Glen Ellyn 4th of July Parade that is celebrating Stars and Stripes Over Glen Ellyn, 250 years of American Spirit. The GEHS successfully formed an all skill level, multigenerational troupe of baton twirlers in the 2025 parade.  There were twirlers  from the late 70's who marched for Glenbard West and even one twirler who came from Texas to participate. Every twirler who would like to be part of the ensemble can call the GEHS number 630-469-1867 or stop in at the Glen Ellyn History Center - 800 N. Main Street in Glen Ellyn to sign up. deadline is May 30. the twirlers will all receive Glen Ellyn Historical Society t-shirts as the uniform.  Twirling children are welcome to join the unit. Kids, parents, and grand parents are all welcome to join this 4th of July Celebration Parade. The GEHS History Ctr. is open Tues. through Sat. 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
