Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ

Summer isn’t over yet! The Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ (GEBYBBQ) returns for its 18th year on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1:00 – 9:30pm in downtown Glen Ellyn at the Duane Street Public Parking Lot.

With live music throughout the day, tasty BBQ, delicious food and drink vendors, and a Piglet Playland for the kids, the event is sure to be fun for the whole family.

The GEBYBBQ also features Illinois’ largest amateur BBQ contest where BBQ enthusiasts will compete to see who has what it takes to become the champion. Guests can vote for which of our competitors made their favorite BBQ sauce and get tips from the home-chef pros.

The Piglet Playland offers plenty of fun for the little ones with children’s entertainment, face painting, inflatables, and more. The BBQ will also keep you rocking all day long with some of the best bands in town, including Blank Tape, Lakeshore, Amy Kelly and the Beaver Moon Band, and Serendipity. Guests will also have a chance to win exciting raffle prizes. This year’s entertainment is supported by our King of the Stage Sponsor, Sport Court Midwest.
