GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Public Library will host an Empathy Expo Jan. 9 through Jan. 12. The expo, created by local students, will feature interactive stations that illustrate what it is like to be visually impaired.

Those who attend can explore tactile 3-D-printed books created by the students. Attendees will also have a chance to create their own miniature tactile book that will be donated to Philip J. Rock Center and School, a Glen Ellyn facility for children who are blind or deaf.

The expo, which runs during regular library hours, is geared toward children and adults alike.
