Glenbard West Bomb Threats: Student Charged, Investigation Continues
A 17-year-old student was charged with two counts of felony disorderly conduct in connection with Wednesday's bomb threat.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A 17-year-old student faces felony charges in connection with the bomb threat that was called in to Glenbard West High School Wednesday.
The high school had been evacuated around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after a bomb threat was received. An investigation led police to discover no bombs, so the school was reopened around 2 p.m.
Police say a suspect was identified in the early phases of the investigation into Wednesday's incident. The teen was charged with two counts of felony disorderly conduct and is currently being held in the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center.

After the arrest, Glen Ellyn Police Chief Philip Norton shared the following statement, "I am extremely pleased that our team was able to quickly identify the suspect. We are also very thankful for the assistance and support from State's Attorney Bob Berlin and his office."
