Lombard Bank Heist: Serial Robber's Sixth Strike This Year
FBI is searching for a man connected with 6 bank robberies in Chicago's suburbs this year. His most recent hit was a Chase Bank in Lombard.

LOMBARD, IL — A serial bank robber who has eluded the FBI since January has struck another bank in the suburbs, his sixth this year. This most recent heist took place at Chase Bank at 223 East Roosevelt Road in Lombard. This "serial suburban bank robber," has hit other banks in Woodridge, Elgin, Buffalo Grove, Rosemont, and Des Plaines since his crime spree began and has been known to conceal his identity with foundation makeup and various styles of sunglasses. The FBI is offering $5,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
According to the FBI, the Lombard robbery took place at approximately 1:15 p.m. and his face is plainly visible in surveillance photos that match those from the other robberies in which he removed his sunglasses. The man is described as a white male in his mid-20s or -30s with brown hair. He has a medium build and is between 5'8" and 6'1" tall. During every robbery, surveillance images have shown him wearing a black coat or jacket. At the time of the Lombard, he was also wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, and brown shoes with white soles.
His first robbery was a Fifth Third Bank at 2323 63rd Street in Woodridge on January 12.

It wasn't until June 30 that the suspect struck again, robbing a Chase Bank in Buffalo Grove.
