New Drug Disposal Box in Place at Civic Center

The Glen Ellyn Police Department recently partnered with Save A Star Drug Awareness Foundation to place a drug disposal box in the lobby of the Civic Center, 535 Duane Street.

Drug disposal boxes provide safe collection and disposal of drugs as another means of minimizing the cycle of prescription drug abuse and addiction.

Additionally, the proper disposal of prescription medications is environmentally friendly as it prevents medications from entering the water supply via tossing them in the trash or flushing them down the toilet.
