GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. THEFT
Someone stole a ring worth more than $2,000 from a bedroom of a home in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road, a resident reported on Nov. 28 at 9:52 a.m.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Someone damaged a mailbox by the curb of a home in the 2800 block of Independence Avenue Nov. 28 at 1:18 p.m. for a loss of $600.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
An employee of a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported getting unwanted telephone calls on Nov. 28 at 7:47 p.m.
THEFT
Someone stole tarps, tools and other equipment from the bed of a truck in the 4200 block of Commercial Way, an employee reported Nov. 29 at 10:50 a.m.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported that someone threw several eggs at the east side of their house causing $700 worth of damage.
BURGLARY
Someone broke into a storage locker in the 700 block of Milwaukee Avenue for a loss of $500, an employee reported Nov. 29 at 3:33 p.m.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY
An Uber driver reported on Nov. 29 at 5:56 p.m. that they were punched in the arm by a passenger in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported on Nov. 29 at 6:52 p.m. that someone ran out of the business without paying for $1,000 worth of merchandise.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
On Nov. 30 at 4:38 a.m., an employee in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported an upset customer had threatened to return with a weapon.
STOLEN CAR
A resident in the 1000 block of Heatherfield Lane reported Nov. 30 at 7:44 a.m. that someone stole an unlocked vehicle worth $30,000 from the driveway.
THEFT
Someone stole two catalytic converters from the undercarraige of a vehicle in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, a guest reported Nov. 30 at 10:01 a.m.
BURGLARY
Renters in the 700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported on the morning of Nov. 30 that someone broke into storage units and stole $700 worth of jewelry and $600 worth of baby strollers. In the afternoon, another resident reported someone stole an air compressor and a bicycle worth $350.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 4100 block of Hampton Court reported on the afternoon of Nov. 30 that someone had entered their house and stole $3,000 in property and cash from inside.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
An employee in the 2100 block of Sanders Road reported on Nov. 30 at 4:47 p.m. that they had received unwanted text messages and emails.
RETAIL THEFT
On Nov. 30 at 5:43 p.m., an employee of an undisclosed store in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone took $120 worth of clothing off a rack, put the items in a backpack and walked out without paying.
BURGLARY
Someone smashed the windows of two cars parked in the parking lot of a business in the 1900 block of Waukegan Road and stole purses worth a combined $350, patrons reported Nov. 30 around 8:50 p.m.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 2300 block of Robincrest Lane reported on Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. that someone had purchased $800 worth of electronics using their utility account.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 900 block of Glenwood Drive reported someone sent them unwanted emails Dec. 1 at 5:20 p.m.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Multiple juveniles did $500 in damage to six mailboxes, breaking their posts and support brackets, in the 1700 block of Kendale Drive, police were told Dec. 1 at 10:16 p.m.
THEFT
A park patron in the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue reported Dec. 2 at 10:39 a.m. that someone had taken a telephone worth $500 from an bag that had been left unattended in a park.
IDENTITY THEFT
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported Dec. 2 at 2:17 p.m. that someone charged a purse to a fraudulent credit account for a loss of $1,000.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
An employee in the 3800 block of Willow Road reported on Dec. 2 at 7:31 p.m. that a non-member had walked into a "facility."
TRESPASSING
A railroad employee reported Dec. 4 at 7:41 a.m. that someone was walking down their tracks in the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

An employee in the 4200 block of Commercial Way reported Dec. 4 at 8:06 a.m. that two men were on the property without authorization.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 2400 block of Pick Lane reported on Dec. 4 at 10:22 a.m. that someone had withdrawn more than $1,000 without authorization from several bank accounts.
FORGERY
A resident in the 1700 block of Grove Street reported Dec. 5 at 1:43 p.m. that someone took $200 from their bank account without authorization.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone stole a $50 ring from a display and walked out of the store without paying.
THEFT
An employee in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported losing a $31 cellular telephone on the afternoon of Dec. 4.
THEFT
A customer in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported Dec. 4 at 4:38 p.m. that someone stole a cell phone worth $800.
THEFT
A customer in the 3800 block of Willow Road reported Dec. 4 at 8:44 p.m. that someone stole an iPhone worth $300 from inside an unattended gym bag.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Bryson Weathersby, 34, of the 10040 block of Rhodes Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Nov. 27 at 5:33 p.m. in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with identity theft, forgery, possession of a fraudulent license and credit card fraud following an investigation.
Itzel Ocamp, 22, of the 3400 block of Salem Walk, Northbrook, was arrested after an investigation Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false report.
Maxine Bershadsky, 29, of the 2100 block of Rugen Road was arrested Nov. 30 at 11:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road and charged with unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance.
Robert Gunther, 48, of the 7600 block of Oriole Avenue, Niles, was arrested Nov. 30 at 6:55 p.m. following a traffic crash investigation in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road and charged with driving without a valid license. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Laurel Fritzen, 43, of the 9100 block of Menard Avenue, Morton Grove, was arrested Dec. 1 at 6:51 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Waukegan Road. She was also issued citations for improper lane usage and failure to signal when required.
