California Man Arrested At O'Hare For ID Theft: Glenview PD Blotter
The 27-year-old was charged with two counts of aggravated identity theft (victim over 60), identity theft over $10,000.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. - Zlotea Radu, 27, of Diamond Bar, California, is accused of two counts of aggravated identity theft (person over 60), identity theft over $10,000, and was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 24, at O'Hare International Airport. He was processed at the Arlington Heights Police Department for a separate warrant and remained in their custody pending a condition hearing.
- A Canterbury Lane resident reported on Jan. 25 that two days earlier, while searching the internet on how to apply for TSA Pre-Check, they came across a website, GovPlus.com. They provided the website with their personal information and paid a fee of $97. The resident believes the website may be fraudulent due to other reviews and receiving a request to send a text message.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE
Danielle Byndom, 49, of the 10000 block of Forest Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving with a suspended license, speeding (21-25 mph over the speed limit), and was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 24, after a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Sanders Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 19.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO A VEHICLE
Aimee Gose, 35, of the 4100 block of Williamsburg Court, is accused of criminal trespass to a vehicle, and was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Jan. 21, by the Lisle Police Department. She was turned over to Glenview police following a stolen vehicle investigation. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 24.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Teodoro Salinas-Sanchez, 43, of the 300 block of 3rd Street, Northfield, is accused of disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 9:34 p.m. Jan. 21, after an investigation in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

INCIDENTS
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
A Portage Run resident reported at 9:03 a.m. Jan. 21, they were the victim of aggravated identity theft. They said that an unknown suspect portrayed themselves as the homeowner and listed their property for sale in the amount of $510,000. A copy of the driver's license used to list the property had a different picture on it that did not match the homeowner.
BURGLARY FROM A VEHICLE
An Olney resident called police at 5:35 p.m. Jan. 21, to report someone had burglarized their vehicle while it was parked in the 2600 block of Lehigh Avenue. There was no forced entry into the vehicle and two credit cards were missing from the console. Both credit cards were used at the Walmart in Wheeling for a total loss of $1635.60.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Palmgren Drive resident called police at 6:11 p.m. Jan. 21, to report someone had withdrawn $2,000 from their US Bank savings account.
DRUG OFFENSE
A Morton Grove resident was issued a Village ordinance ticket at 12:29 p.m. Jan. 23, for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, after a traffic stop investigation in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1600 block of Robin Lane called police at 5:52 p.m. Jan. 23, to report arriving home and finding an unknown Ford pickup truck in their driveway. The homeowner then saw three unknown males exiting the home and run to the pickup truck and drive away. The suspects had masks, hats, and dark clothing on. Multiple items were taken from the home, valued around $15,000.
BATTERY
A citizen called police at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 24, to report they had got into a fight with two unknown people over a parking space in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The complainant went to the hospital with minor injuries. The suspects were gone prior to police arrival.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
Police responded to a business alarm at 2:59 a.m. Jan. 25, in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue, which was later confirmed to be a burglary in process. The suspects were described as four black men, between 20 and 35 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot 3, between 170 and 190 pounds, wearing gloves and face coverings, arrived in a possible Nissan Pathfinder. The suspects made entry by breaking a large front window and took a cash register along with an unknown amount of products and US currency. The suspects then exited and fled toward the north end of the parking lot. Estimated loss is $2,500 and complaints will be signed. At 8:12 a.m., officers were called to the area of 1100 block of Castilian Court due to multiple items strewn in the parking lot, including a cash register, IDs, and other items. Similar burglaries were done in nearby towns overnight by what appears to be the same suspects.
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported on Jan. 26 that 10 days prior, someone stole several packages of over-the-counter medications. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6-foot and 200 pounds. The employee said the same suspect was involved in retail thefts in Highland Park, Deerfield and Mundelein. Total loss is $491.88.
- An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported on Jan. 26 that three days prior, someone stole several packages of over-the-counter medications from the Jewel Osco at 2502 Waukegan Road. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6-foot and 200 pounds. The employee said the same suspect was involved in retail thefts in Highland Park, Deerfield and Mundelein. Total loss is $391.88.
PROSTITUTION
A Niles resident reported at 8:11 p.m. Jan. 26, that while at a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, they were approached in the hallway by a female who offered to come to their room for $200. They declined the offer.
THEFT
- A citizen reported at 12:28 p.m. Jan. 27, their property had been taken while staying overnight at a business in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road. They are missing Dr. Dre Beats headphones and an Apple Watch.
- An employee of a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 12:47 p.m. Jan. 25, to report their tote bag had been left unattended in the employee break room. They discovered a $100 bill missing from the bag.
