GBS Grad Set To Play In Jeopardy National College Championship
Glenview's Fiona Hellerman, now at Tulane University, won the Maple School Geography Bee in 2012.

GLENVIEW, IL — Next week's Jeopardy National College Championship will have some local flavor. Glenview's Fiona Hellerman, a graduate of Glenbrook South, will be featured on Feb. 16, according to Northbrook/Glenview School District 30.
Hellerman is currently a student at Tulane University.
Hellerman will appear as a contestant on the ABC show as part of Episode 6, Game 11. The National College Championship with Mayim Bialik kicked off on Feb. 8.

Fun Facts about Hellerman (courtesy of District 30):
- She won the Maple School National Geography Bee in 2012.
- She was in Maple School's choir and the annual musicals.
- She graduated from Maple in 2014, and Glenbrook South High School in 2018.
- Her former Willowbrook teachers, Heidi Fletcher and now retired, Sue Weingarten, remember her fondly.
- Hellerman's English Language Arts teacher Ann Angel encouraged her love of reading and curiosity. Angel is now a second-grade teacher at Willowbrook.
- Her younger brother, Declan, and her family still lives across the street from Willowbrook School.
"It's always so rewarding to see our Wildcats grow up and do great things," Willowbrook fourth-grade teacher Heidi Fletcher said.
