Glenview Patch Honors High School Graduates: Class Of 2020

This is the sixth installment of our salute to Class of 2020 high school graduates in Glenview.

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview Patch wants to share the achievements of local high school graduates by putting them in the spotlight over the next few weeks. Due to the coronavirus, in-person instruction has canceled the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Illinois. We know these wonderful seniors are missing out on some of the last moments of the school year.

We hope that this will give the community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates. You can find the form here if you'd like to add your graduate. Patch will be updating this form until May 31.

John Potter, Glenbrook South

John was involved with Chess, Stage Crew and Lighting /Sound. He will attend Carthage College for Criminal Justice/Theater.

Message from the family: "John we are so proud of you and the young man you becoming.We can’t wait to see where the next 18 years and beyond takes you. We will always be by your side cheering you on no, matter what road you take in life. Congratulations to our 2020 graduate! It will be one to remember. We love you! Mom & Dad."


Nicholas Michael Wright, Glenbrook South

Nicholas played football. He will attend Creighton University to study Sports Medicine.

Meghan Traynor, Glenbrook North

Meghan was involved with Science and Spanish. She was a member of the Varsity Volleyball team. She will attend the University of California to study Biomedical Engineering.

Christina "Christie" Chrones, Glenbrook South

Christina will attend the University of Illinois. She was Senior Class President, President Glenview Junior Optimist Club, Team Captain Varsity Girls Soccer team and Burger Day Philanthropy Board Member.

Message from the family: "Congratulations Christie on all your accomplishments so far! From being Senior Class President to Varsity Girls Soccer Team Captain to President of the Glenview Junior Optimist Club, you have amazed us with every achievement, all while maintaining an A average in all your honors and AP classes. We look forward to seeing you achieve even greater heights as your life progresses, and we will be there every step of the way to love and cheer you on."


Danial Jiwani, Glenbrook South

Danial was a member of Business Professionals of America and Student Council. He will attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study business.
