Northbrook, Winnetka Men Among 4 DUI Arrests: Glenview Blotter
Glenview Police Blotter: March 6 - March 12

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indicator of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
INCIDENTS
GRASS DAMAGE
A U.S. Postal Service employee reported at 1:18 p.m. on March 6 that they accidentally caused $100 worth of damage to grass on village property in the 1100 block of Pfingsten Road.

DISTURBANCE
A guest in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported hearing a woman screaming as if she was angry and upset at 10:32 p.m. on March 6.
TRESPASSING
An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported at 6 p.m. on March 7 that someone was in the store after receiving a prior trespass warning.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 4600 block of Locust Avenue reported around 5 a.m. on March 8 that someone had broken the rear window of a vehicle while it was parked on the driveway causing an estimated $500 in damage.
DELAYED RETAIL THEFT REPORTS
An employee of a store in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported on the afternoon of March 9 that someone had stolen 12 packages of razor blades worth $350 from a shelf on March 6 and that someone had also stolen a dozen razor blade packages from the same store on Feb. 23.
TRESPASSING
A resident in the 2400 block of Dewes Street reported around 4:30 p.m. on March 9 that someone was on the property without permission.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 700 block of Chatham Road reported receiving unwanted text messages on the afternoon of March 9.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 1500 block of Waukegan reported at 7:15 p.m. on March 9 that someone had stolen $10 worth of snacks from the shelf.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported someone stole $30 worth of clothing from the store at 7:53 p.m. on March 9.
THEFT
A shopper in the 2800 block of Willow Road reported at 10:17 a.m. on March 11 that someone had stolen credit card and bank statements from a briefcase on a cart.
THEFT
A guest in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported on the afternoon of March 11 that someone had stolen medication from a medicine bottle stored in a purse for a loss of $50.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1300 block of Somerset Drive reported at 12:56 p.m. that someone broke into their residence through a rear door during the morning hours for a reported loss of $1,500.
DISPUTE
A guest in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 1:37 p.m. on March 11 that an employee caused an argument.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 1:41 p.m. on March 11 that someone stole a bracelet worth $24 from a display and walked out of the store without paying.
CAR BURGLARY
An employee in the 1800 block of Elmdale Avenue reported at 12:37 a.m. on March 12 that someone had entered an unlocked truck in the parking lot and stole $500 worth of electronics from inside.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported on the morning of March 12 that someone had used a fraudulent credit card to purchase a Louis Vitton handbag and wallet for $1,750.
DISTURBANCE
An employee in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a rude customer started an argument on the afternoon of March 12.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Hung Lee, 64, of the 3400 block of Salem Walk in Northbrook, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. on March 5 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest following a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Sanders Road. He was also ticketed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.
Jose Tinajero, 40, of the 300 block of Tee Lane in Carpentersville, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. on March 7 and on a warrant issued by Northbrook police and given additional charges of driving on a revoked license and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Police said his license has been revoked for more than 5 years and the warrant was connected to a previous arrest for driving on a revoked license.
A 31-year-old homeless man was arrested on the afternoon of March 8 in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road and charged with criminal trespassing following an investigation.
Paul Graver, 56, of the 900 block of Forest Glen Drive in Winnetka, was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. on March 9 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Willow Road. He was also ticketed for improper lane usage.
Emily Williams, 33, of the 4500 block of North Kildare Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. on March 9 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road. She was also issued citations for using lanes improperly and following too closely.
A 55-year-old Mount Prospect man was arrested arrested at 1:22 p.m. on March 10 and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. He was also ticketed for failing to signal.
A 23-year-old Gurnee man was arrested at 5:17 p.m. on March 11 and charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and operating a vehicle with expired registration following a traffic stop in the 2700 lock of Willow Road.
Clement Ojiebun, 35, of the 5400 block of North Kenmore Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. on March 11 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding following a traffic stop in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue.
