Passenger Punches Uber Driver, Threatens To Kill: Glenview PD Blotter
The driver had picked up a male and female in Des Plaines, dropping them off at a business in Glenview when the battery occurred.

Thomas T. Littleton, 35, of the 170 block of Grove Avenue, Des Plaines, is accused of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, displaying a false insurance card, and was arrested at 1:07 p.m. Dec. 3, in the 3100 block of West Lake Avenue. A court date of Dec. 30 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
TRESPASS WARNING
An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Glenview Road reported at 12:47 p.m. Dec. 3, a male with a beard, wearing blue jeans, blue jacket, blue backpack, white cap and brown boots was "aggressively panhandling" inside the restaurant, disrupting their customers. They said the male was being rude and continuously asking customers for money. They requested the male be given a trespass warning for the restaurant, but officers were unable to locate the male.
BATTERY
- An Uber driver reported at 9:38 p.m. Dec. 3, picking up a male and female from Des Plaines and driving them to a business in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They left a backpack in the vehicle and the driver met them back at the address. The male opened the front passenger door to the vehicle and began punching them in the face, swearing, saying he would kill them. The male and female then ran behind the business. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, mid 20s, approximately 5-foot-8, muscular build, wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
- An employee of a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road called police at 11:23 a.m. Dec. 4, to report being pushed by a patron while inside the men's locker room. The employee said they told the patron that they could not use paper towel for the toilet because it clogs the pipes. The patron said the employee was looking at them through the stall door and made them uncomfortable, so they confronted them after exiting the stall. They denied pushing the employee. The patron was given a trespass warning not to return.
- A person reported at 11:04 p.m. Dec. 6, being battered at a business in the 200 block of East Lake Avenue by an employee after a dispute over the quality of the food. Both involved employees denied battering the person, but said the subject tried leaving the establishment without paying their bill. The subject provided a partial payment for the food and left the bar.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A Pace bus driver called police at 2:33 a.m. Dec. 6, to report a passenger on the bus had threatened to hit them on the head. Officers spoke with the passenger, who said they were upset because the driver would not turn the bus around to drop them off. They said they were concerned about different terrorist threats. They requested to go to the hospital for care.
DISTURBANCE
An association having a meeting at 5:22 p.m. Dec. 4, in the 2700 block of Commons Drive, reported one of the residents made remarks about another member and was causing a disruption to the meeting, calling people names and filming everyone. They left when they said they were calling the police.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1400 block of Estate Lane called police at 1:21 p.m. Dec. 7, to report someone had shattered the glass sliding door and gained entry to the residence. They had removed a musical instrument and a check book from the residence.
