Person Writes Angry Message On Car In Sharpie: Glenview Police Blotter
The message read, "Please park elsewhere, school bus route," according to the complainant, who said they were parked legally.

RETAIL THEFT

- A manager of a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road reported at 6:46 p.m. Feb. 20, someone entered the store, filled several bags with unknown merchandise and left without paying.
- An employee of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police to report that on Feb. 18, a male offender stole an Otterbox phone case valued at $49.99.
RECOVERED STOLEN AUTO
A stolen vehicle was located at 10:49 a.m. Feb. 22, in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Depot Street. The vehicle was unoccupied, unlocked and the keys were inside the ignition. Dearborn Heights Police Department in Michigan was notified and recovered the vehicle.

CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT
A resident in the 1600 block of Greenwood Road called police at 2:29 p.m. Feb 22, to report someone had written, "Please park elsewhere, school bus route," in sharpie on the door to their vehicle while it was legally parked in the 1600 block of Elmdale Avenue.
THEFT
A Greenwood Road resident called police at 10:39 a.m. Feb. 25, to report they sent $90 via Apple Pay to someone for University of Wisconsin hockey tickets, which they never received.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Northbrook resident reported at 9:15 p.m. Feb. 26, they were contacted by a realtor and a landlord in Chicago, both of which stated an unknown female used the victim’s personal information without permission and presented it as their own on apartment applications.
