Protest Planned For Thursday; Roadway Closed
The Glenview Police Department is advising non-participants to avoid Glenview Road.

UPDATE: The protest ended at 12:15 p.m. Thursday and Glenview Road has reopened, according to the Glenview Police Department.
GLENVIEW, IL — A protest is scheduled for Thursday in Glenview, according to the Glenview Police Department. A flyer for the event is calling is on protestors to meet at 10:40 a.m. at the Downtown Glenview train station, 1116 Depot. St.
The Glenview Police Department said starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, residents should avoid Glenview Road from Waukegan Road to Harlem Avenue. The roadway will be shut down.

Organizers are calling this, "Glenview March With Us, Not For Us." Masks are required and protestors are also being asked to wear gloves. The flyer also states snacks and water will be provided.
