GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Yesaar Alammar, 31, of the 7300 block of North Crawford Avenue, Lincolnwood, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs, driving with a suspended/revoked driver's license, speeding (26-34 mph over the limit), and was arrested at 2:28 p.m. June 9 in the 200 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on a $3,000.00 bond and assigned a court date of June 23.

- Carlos Claudio, 28, of the 2200 block of Westwood Drive, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 2:24 a.m. June 10 in the 1200 block of Glenview Road. A citizen had reported to police a man was sleeping in a car in the roadway at that location. He was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of July 13.
- Zachary Wadeleigh, 29, of the 1700 block of Harding Road, Northbrook, is accused of driving with a blood alcohol content level of .08 or more, driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 4:20 p.m. June 11 following a crash investigation in the 2000 block of Willow Road. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given a court date of July 27.
- Brandon Shields, 36, of the 1800 block of Tower Drive, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested at 12:06 a.m. June 12 in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given a court date of July 7.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Aleksander Babanin, 46, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery and interfering with a report of domestic violence, and was arrested at 1:04 a.m. June 15. He was transported to court for a bond hearing.
INCIDENTS
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
- A resident in the 3800 block of La Fontaine Drive reported at 7:31 a.m. June 9 someone entered an unlocked garage between 12:30-4:30 a.m. and took a purse from the trunk of a car parked in the garage and a bicycle stored in the garage. The reported loss is $530.
- A resident in the 3100 block of Glenway Drive called police at 8:31 p.m. June 9 reported someone entered their house on a ruse and took silver items from inside. The reported loss is $1,000.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A resident in the 100 block of Parkview Road reported at 8:24 a.m. June 9 someone threw eggs at cars on the driveway during the overnight hours. There is no reported damage.
FRAUD
A resident in the 1300 block of East Lake Avenue called police at 8:52 a.m. June 9 to report a contractor hired to fix roof leaks refused to repair the roof after receiving payment. The reported loss is $1,600.
THEFT
- A resident in the 1700 block of Rogers Avnue reported at 2:14 p.m. June 9 someone took a check from the mail. The reported loss is $1,400.
- A Dewes Street resident called police at 8:22 a.m. June 1o to report someone made unauthorized purchases using their Apple credit card. The reported loss is $500
- A guest in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 8:59 a.m. June 13 someone stole a telephone from their room. The reported loss is $60.
- An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road called police at 5:50 p.m. June 13 to report someone stole their bike between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The reported loss is $300.
- A resident in the 3300 block of Glenview Road reported at 6:27 p.m. June 15 someone took their unsecured bike from the front of the store. The reported loss is $300.
- A resident in the 1400 block of Pebblecreek Drive called police at 6:50 p.m. June 15 to report someone took a package delivered to the residence. The reported loss is $772.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 600 block of Buccaneer Drive reported at 3:51 p.m. June 9 someone entered their unsecured vehicle parked on the driveway and took a duffle bag with clothing and a computer from inside the car. The reported loss is $500.
CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT
- Graffiti was discovered at 11:22 p.m. June 10 on the door to a stairwell in the parking garage at 2701 Aviator Lane. The reported loss is $150.
- An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Prairie Street called police at 7:14 a.m. June 13 to report graffiti on the gazebo in the park. There was no permanent damage.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- A resident in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:45 p.m. June 11 someone damaged their vehicle’s passenger side mirror during the overnight hours. The reported loss is $1,000.
- A passerby in the 500 block of Echo Lane called police at 11:27 a.m. June 12 to report windows were broken at the park fieldhouse. The reported loss is $300.
- An employee of a business in the 3300 block of Willow Road reported at 9:13 a.m. June 13 someone damaged a window and light fixtures in a trailer. The reported loss is $2,700.
ASSAULT
A park patron in the 2000 block of Central Road called police at 6:24 p.m. June 11 to report a man was screaming and swearing at him.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 8:27 p.m. June 11 someone pushed a shopping cart containing beer out of the store without paying. The reported loss is $200.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident of Spruce Street called police at 10:14 a.m. June 12 to report someone attempted to use their credit card at a credit union. The purchase was declined.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
An employee of a business in the 2700 block of Old Willow Road called police at 9:30 p.m. June 13 to report someone was on the property without permission.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
A Spring Road resident reported at 11:47 a.m. June 15 receiving unwanted telephone calls.
