CLC Fires Employee Charged With Grooming, Solicitation Of H.S. Students: Officials

College of Lake County officials say a former employee has been fired after his arrest on charges related to grooming and solicitation of high school students. The college identified the employee as Adam Faulkner, a College and Career Navigator who worked with students at Wauconda High School.

The college has paused all in-person career services at high schools as it takes a closer look at safety protocols.

Officer Accused Of Sexually Abusing Woman While On Duty: Officials

Patrick Cacho, 29, made an initial court appearance in Lake County Wednesday and is now expected to appear for a detention haring Thursday to determine if he will remain behind bars as court proceedings move forward in his case. Cacho, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, faces 10 felony counts in Lake County, including aggravated criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual abuse, aggravated battery and official misconduct.
