Councilmember Cedillo Brings Winter Wonderland to Highland Park
Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo will turn the Highland Park Recreation Center into a Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 10.
From the Office of Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo: Councilmember Cedillo will turn the Highland Park Recreation Center into a Winter Wonderland, in Council District 1, completely transforming the recreation center with snow and activities to entertain over 500 local children. Councilmember Cedillo will bring holiday cheer to the underserved communities of the First Council District by partnering with two organizations and one school from Northeast LA. Due to limited resources, this event is not open to the public.
Children will enjoy a snow play area, decorate cookies, create arts and crafts, enjoy a marionette show, and greet Santa.
