Highland Park enters with a strong 3-0 record after a tight win over Evanston, while Lake Forest is 1-2 and coming off a straight-sets loss to Wheeling.
   

• Man dies in hospital after being found in garage fire with severe burn injuries in Lincolnshire (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Highland Park firefighters were among several nearby departments that helped Lincolnshire crews battle a fatal garage fire Wednesday on Pembroke Lane, where a 56-year-old man later died from severe burns. The blaze was quickly contained to the garage, the home remains habitable, and state and local investigators are still working to determine the fire's cause and the official manner of death.
