Hear Theo Lawrence's Bill Anderson Collaboration 'Today Is A Good Day' (antimusic.com) — Country artist Theo Lawrence is bringing his fall tour with Alison Krauss and Union Station to Highland Park's Ravinia Festival on September 12, giving local fans a chance to hear their new collaboration "Today Is A Good Day" live. The French-born, Austin-based singer is also playing major venues from Nashville's Ryman Auditorium to Austin's Moody Theater.
   

4. Man dies in hospital after being found in garage fire with severe burn injuries in Lincolnshire (lakemchenryscanner.com) — A Lincolnshire house fire Wednesday left a 56-year-old resident dead after he was found badly burned in the home's garage and later died at a burn center. Highland Park firefighters were among several neighboring departments that assisted Lincolnshire-Riverwoods crews, who contained the blaze to the garage while investigators continue to probe the cause.
