to Managing Directors of Investment Advisory

CHICAGO (June 11, 2012) — Mesirow Financial today announced the promotions of Vincent A. Allegra and Christopher J. Pohlman, Jr. to managing directors of its Investment Advisory group. Their promotions recognize their continued dedication to servicing and building lasting relationships with their clients, as well as the growth of their business.

The team has more than 20 years of combined experience in the financial services industry developing comprehensive wealth and investment management programs for public and private corporations, public sector entities, high net worth individuals, and not-for-profit organizations in addition to assisting corporations with their retirement plans. The team consults on $1.2 billion in retirement plan assets and advises on $140 million in individual client assets.

Allegra and his wife and children live in Hinsdale, Illinois. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Villanova University. Pohlman and his wife and children reside in Westmont, Illinois. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the Benedictine University and is on the Board of Directors of The DuPage County Children’s Museum. Pohlman is a Certified Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS^®). Both gentlemen are board representatives of Choose DuPage and are Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®) designees.
