Hinsdale Man Charged With Domestic Battery: Cops

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving domestic battery, DUI, possession of a stolen vehicle, a brick thrown through a window and identity theft. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:

Domestic battery

• Daniel Bryan, 57, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Bruner Street on a charge of domestic battery. He made contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with a household member. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

• Brian C. Etten, 46, of Western Springs, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at Elm and Third streets on charges of DUI and improper lighting. He was stopped for driving without taillights. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
• Deavon D. Ingram, 25, of Chicago, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at Route 83 and 55th Street on charges of DUI, speeding more than 35 mph over the limit, improper lane use and driving an uninsured vehicle. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
• Raul Acosta-Fermin, 24, of Clifton, N.J., was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at 55th and Madison streets on charges of DUI, speeding, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic signal. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Possession of stolen vehicle

• Noah T. Moore-Hodgson, 24, of Milwaukee, was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday at the Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave., on a felony charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The car he was driving was reported stolen in Fox Crossing, Wisconsin. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Brick through window

• Someone threw a brick through a rear window of a car parked in a driveway overnight Thursday in the 600 block of East Hickory Street. Nothing was reported missing from the car.

Identity theft

• A resident in the 200 block of Bonnie Brae Road told police Friday that someone hacked his email account, contacted his employer and gave alternate direct deposit information for payroll. The resident reported a loss of $7,250. The case is pending.
