Speed Painter Wows Art Festival Crowd
Elliott From produced five paintings in less than an hour during the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival Saturday.
Overcast skies made for less-than-ideal weather on the first day of the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival Saturday. Elliott From, though, kept the crowd at upbeat.
From, a speed painter who performs at art fairs, corporate events, and charity events, drew a sizable audience as he whipped out five wall-worthy paintings in a matter of minutes.
One of the paintings, of a giant Chicago Bulls logo, was raffled off to a lucky attendee. The other four were sold for $500 a piece. (From led off with a Blackhawks logo portrait, as seen in the sped-up video clip above.)
