Zethmayr, Director of Foreign Trade Zone #176 in conjunction with Pam Cumpata
of McHenry County EDC are pleased to announce a foreign trade zone forum. Also available at the presentation will be
the EDCs of Richmond, David Kielpinski; Harvard, Charles Eldredge; Woodstock,
Cort Carlson; Huntley, Vic Narusis; and Crystal Lake, Michelle Rentzsch. There will be various presentations including
information on the operation of a Manufacturing Subzone by Traci Grever of
Unicarriers Americas Corporation, Marengo and then a question and answer
session. The purpose of the forum is to
inform and discover the level of interest of local businesses that import or
export or are planning to import/export products in reducing their costs and
time spent in those endeavors.
The forum will take place at McHenry
County College
in the Luecht Conference
Center, 8900 U. S. Route
14, Building B in Crystal Lake,
IL on Thursday May 15, 2014. Check in is at 7:30AM with coffee and a light
breakfast available. There is no charge
for the program which will begin
promptly at 8:00AM with an end time of 10:00AM.
