John Majewski Refuses To Stay Off St. Francis Campus: Cops
In October, Majewski was arrested for beating up a security guard at the University of St. Francis.

JOLIET, IL - John Majewski Jr. has a letter that bans him from walking on the University of St. Francis campus. He also faces a pending felony battery charge for allegedly beating up a campus security officer last month. Still, the 27-year-old Joliet man who lives in the 400 block of Plainfield Road keeps on setting foot on the campus. The end result is more criminal charges and more legal troubles for the young man. On Wednesday, Joliet police officers arrested Majewski on a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass to property. Joliet police were called to the University of St. Francis campus around 1:45 p.m. by campus security and officers subsequently arrested Majewski.
"As a condition of his bail, on October 17th, he was told by the judge to stay off the University of St. Francis property," Joliet Deputy Chief of Police Ed Gregory said. Furthermore, Majewski was previously served with a letter from St. Francis representatives instructing him to stay off the campus property near Wilcox Street.

This time last month, Joliet Patch published a story about Majewski being arrested for felony aggravated battery to a peace officer. When campus security told Majewski at that time to get off the campus in October, because he had already banned, Majewski beat up the security guard, according to Joliet police. Majewski was given a $50,000 bond for that offense.
On Thursday, Will County prosecutors filed notice with Judge Carla Alessio Policandriotes advising her that Majewski has violated the conditions of his bail that she set a couple weeks ago in Majewski's felony battery case. After Majewski had been incarcerated for about two weeks, unable to post his $50,000 bond, the judge allowed Majewski's release from the county jail on November 2 on his own personal recognizance, court records show. At that time, the judge warned him to stay away from the University of St. Francis and have no contact with that security officer he is accused of harming.
