Joliet Truck Burglar Captured On Kelly Avenue: Police
Joliet police say they located the male in the 1000 block of Kelly Avenue, and he was identified as 55-year-old Harry Flowers.

JOLIET, IL — After spending three months in the Will County Jail facing charges including aggravated assault and burglary, 55-year-old Wilcox Street resident Harry Flowers was arrested by Joliet police on Sunday evening, this time on charges of burglary to a motor vehicle.
The arrest on the city's west side happened around 5:50 p.m.

- Officers responded to the 900 block of Kelly Avenue for a report of a man possibly burglarizing an unoccupied truck parked in the street. Officers determined that a man had entered the unlocked truck and stole a bag containing electronics and tools.
- Officers began to check the surrounding the area and located their suspect, Flowers, in the 1000 block of Kelly Avenue. Flowers was in possession of the items stolen from the truck, and he was placed into custody without incident.
- Flowers was later freed and given a notice to appear in court for the burglary charge.
Back in May, Joliet Patch reported that a woman who was painting a gas station on Ruby Street found herself encountered by Flowers, who threatened to harm her with a sharp knife, according to Joliet police reports. Flowers was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after that incident.
Then in July, Joliet police said that Flowers was captured in the midst of burglarizing a home in the 1000 block of Glenwood Avenue. In that case, Flowers was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of burglary and burglary to a motor vehicle.

On Oct. 5, the resident of the 500 block of Wilcox was released from jail, logs show.
