JOLIET, IL - Downtown Joliet's new Korean style barbeque restaurant opened last October and now there's a big sign on the window that will probably make several of the customers happy. The sign alerts visitors that the K Ribs BBQ has a public hearing before the city of Joliet liquor commission on Wednesday, March 27.

K Ribs told Joliet Patch that it hopes to add beer and wine sales to their regular menu. They also plan to offer Korean rice wines. K Ribs BBQ is at 221 N. Chicago St.

Since they opened, K Ribs told Patch, several customers have inquired about ordering a beer or a glass of wine to go with their meal - only to find out that the new downtown Joliet restaurant currently does not offer alcohol.
