Judge Carla Revokes Bond For John Majewski

The accused felon defied the judge's order this month by trespassing at the University of St. Francis campus.

JOLIET, IL - The University of St. Francis is tired of having to deal with Plainfield Road resident John Majewski trespassing on their campus, and so is Will County Judge Carla Alessio Policandriotes. Earlier this month, the veteran judge released the 27-year-old Joliet man from custody at the Will County jail on his own personal recognizance. In October, the Joliet Police Department arrested him on felony aggravated battery charges after Majewski beat up a security officer at the University of St. Francis, according to police.

As a condition of his release, however, the judge told Majewski to stay off the campus. He defied her. On Wednesday, November 15, the Joliet Police charged Majewski with a misdemeanor offense of trespassing at the University of St. Francis once again.

Last week, Judge Policandriotes revoked Majewski's bond and ordered him to remain in the custody of the Will County Sheriff while he undergoes a mental health fitness evaluation.

The criminal case is back on the judge's calendar on Friday when the judge gets an update on the status of Majewski's mental health exam.

In the meantime, he remains incarcerated.
