Officers say her ex-boyfriend, recently served with an order of protection, choked and bit her before barricading himself in a bedroom, where police forced entry and arrested him on multiple domestic battery charges.

Officers say the fleeing driver ran a red light in downtown Joliet, crashed into another vehicle, hit light poles and a building, and was arrested on numerous felony and traffic charges.
